Pretty sad story. He was cutting down a tree for firewood. Another friend found him in his cabin Sunday. Dead of blunt trauma to head and neck. Chainsaw was still outside by the tree. He somehow made it inside, but that was that. Damn shame that one has to risk their life for heat.

My husband does a lot of sawing trees. He got hurt a few times but not too terrible. It's one of the most dangerous jobs there is. Again, I'm sorry.

He was a high school classmate I hadn't seen in years, but too young. Let's all remember those such as loggers, miners, and commercial fisherman, who risk so much for the rest of us.
