7. I would much rather be in Wisconsin in the snow.
Lived in South Florida too long and got pretty sick of winters in the 70s and 80s. Now, I am in North Georgia where the weather is decent most of the year.

14. Little later I do.
I have to walk across the street for an appointment.

The temps aren't bad, in the 30's.
But tomorrow, it'll be about 10 degrees! I hate that. :scared:

11. ain't that the truth!
Hey You! How're are things in your neck of the woods?

It's really ugly here. They haven't plowed our street yet. And I'm just getting the boys outside to shovel and snowblow.

This was absolutely the worst week for this to happen. The boys' performance is this weekend. We're supposed to have technical rehearsal tonight and dress tomorrow night. We're not sure we're going to be able to get there tonight. And with it turning so cold, a lot of people won't venture out to attend. aaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh!!!!

My daughter is stuck in Chicago. Oh crap - I wonder if our guest artists from the American Ballet will be able to get here!

employees can go home at 1 pm! I'm going to toss some peanuts to the squirrels, get into my nightgown, watch a video, work on some projects and bake something! And paid time too! YAY!

18. I used to have a window like that but I sold it.
It went with the rest of the NH house.
Now I have windows on the bay.

77 degrees down here in Coastal Alabama on Wolf Bay and a nice sunset.
:-)

25. It was too cold to stick to the trees like that here,
and you probably got a little bit more precipitation, but we did get snow and cold and wind.

Snow, about four inches on average, if you could get an accurate measurement because it drifted so much.

Cold, single digits below zero Fahrenheit.

Wind, at times 40 mph.

So what does that make the wind chill?
