...simply because I like that word.
When I was a kid it always felt like what you get with the creators of the specials it was supposed to imitate -- and which I eagerly awaited to the point of feeling intense anxiety and an explosion of pure joy when I saw that spinning SPECIAL graphic CBS threw up prior to their airing -- get up and throw some shit together because they're told to do so but are really just concentrating on the New Year's Eve Party they're going to later in the week.
It's not even half-assed. Quarter-assed at most, but basically assless.
