That ending of Top Chef... (spoilers)

What assholes! That was SOOO cruel what Padme did to Kevin! He wins all those elimination challenges and you reward him with "Kevin .......... you are NOT Top Chef!" You could see him brace himself for winning, then get utterly stabbed in the heart. What asshole producer had THAT bright idea??? :grr:

All three were great chefs, I'm cool either way.

Kevin was probably the best, he'll go far with or without the win.

I really like this show, but I've had major disagreements with some people who got cut from the finals

it seems like only assholes win on this show....

Why don't they just call it Top Asshole?

I don't like what they did to Kevin. And if it had to be one of the brothers I wish it would have been Bryan.

5. Michael deserved to win.

Clearly he was the winner. His courses were better than the other two's. Bryan doesn't season his dishes well. Kevin overcooked his pork bellies, and that was his downfall. Kevin will win fan favorite though.

6. It was cruel, but it did add some suspense

So, I don't have a problem with it, nor with Kevin not winning, although he probably could have won with his food on other seasons *cough*HOSEA*cough*.

I was more shocked that Michael won, given the gushing about Bryan's food. Tom's blog explains things much better - apparently the squab was slightly better in the third course, the editing scum just decided not to show that.

is about people treating other people like shit. I watch the West Wing on Bravo, and cringe my way through every one of their reality-show commercials. It's all douchebags being douchebags to other douchebags. Agony.

And that is definitely the worst part about watching the West Wing on Bravo is that you have to muddle through all their crappy reality show commercials. However, Top Chef has for the most part been different. For one, it has the respect of the industry, it gets all the elite chefs participating. Aside from the typical editing monkey business, it's been pretty straight forward. I was just pissed that they suddenly decided to pull a fast one on the most popular chef this season. He didn't deserve that crap.
