Try to convince me the nicotine isn't addictive!

SO forbids smoking in the house.

1. So, how far down the block did you have to run to capture the cigarette after you lit it?
I used to smoke. E-GADS! I quit 25 years ago this coming February!!! Anyway, I know the routine.

2. I didn't have to run after it
Getting it lit was a bitch, though.

3. That's what those grill lighters are REALLY supposed to be used for!
If that doesn't work, try a propane torch. And yes, I have lit off of a propane torch many times (and not just tobacco). Gas stoves are good for it as well, and if you're careful, you can wave a cigarette through an open fire or grill flame to light it.

4. I went outside about 15 minutes ago for smoke.
It's getting cold in HoosierLand. Winter separates the smoking men from the smoking boys. ;-)

5. I just had a smoke too.
And it was cold. But my hooded sweatshirt kept me warm. I always smoke outside, home or not, so I get used to the cold rather quickly.

8. You need a shed.
Wired with 120. Pop out, hit the electric space heater, turn on the radio (a shortwave radio seems right), gun a stick and fiddle with some broke thing on the bench. Ponder. Put a piece of carpet on the ground or floor to stand on. Fart freely. Make it into a ritual.

13. Lyric and i live just a bit south of you...
It's only down to 23 here thus far, but that wind will cut right through to the bone.

The county east of us has the kids on a 2-hr school start delay because the wind-chill in the morning is anticipated to be below-0. Our district hasn't announced yet, so i'll be checking.
