3. The concept of "Bowie as a band member" was amusing but ludicrous
Sure, Lou Reed could go from the Velvets to solo performer, but Bowie could not go from Bowie to the Velvets.

The concept of Reeves Gabrels and the Sales brothers being Bowie's "peers" or "equals" or "bandmates" was a joke from the start. It was Bowie fronting a pretend rock band.

Definitely better than anything else Bowie did in the 80's (aside from Let's Dance, which really was only worthy because of Stevie Ray Vaughan on guitar - would have been just another synth pop album otherwise)

7. A lot of talent that just didn't gel...and as AV stated above...
the idea of Bowie being a "bandmember" is just absurd
