1. My dear Tuesday Afternoon! |
|
Those are certainly brain-teasing questions!
And I have no answers...
I can tell you that both my husband and I have Solitaire on our computers, Windows 7 version, and we play all the time...
He has won about 60% of his games, and I'm working to maintain 45%!
I have no idea if we're typical, though...

2. This would be a straightforward math question ... |
|
... if I had any way of estimating the total number of games of solitaire played.

Considering the card ordering and player decisions, the game space has got to be pretty large. Especially considering variant rules (and for that matter, different types of "Solitaire")

5. I sometimes wonder if the hands my iPod deals out are ALL winnable or not. |
|
Does it deal hands that are just not winnable, or is every hand beatable if I just resist the urge to put THIS red 8 on the black 9 and instead play the OTHER red 8? (Or whatever.)

Just dealing the cards comes to 1.7 E + 89. I have no idea what that number would even be called.

7. You want a game that is nearly impossible to win: Gin Rummy for Iphone |
|
Mind you, I scored a gold trophy with the first 4 levels. But Gin Granny is a bee-yotch to beat
