6. "And then the depositions..."
And then the depositions

P.S. That's not CMW. CMW's butt is rounder and his back isn't hairy. Also, he has no flippers.

3. My dear Call Me Wesley!
Instant snow?

Is this for the summer, when you're pining away for some?

Cool gift!

And I love this peek into your world, onto your work space...

10. You're sooooooo mistaken.
Most of them are used on a daily basis. You just can't see the stack of my Moleskine journals (they are at the other side of the desk.) Kindle is pretty nice to read books, but you can't write books with it. There the pens and the journals come in handy, and never forget: Never write anything on a computer first ... ;)

12. I recognize those pens in your IKEA pen holder
you ain't foolin me. Ours sit unused as well, with all the new technological advances made in our household lately....

I had 5 siblings...never write anything down on paper you don't want used against you in a court of law or read out loud with your dad holding his belt!

13. Do you work for IKEA or just have all of their
assortment memorized? :P

The most used pens/pencils are on the desk behind the can of instant snow. In the pen holders, there are mostly all of my TOMBO/COPIC markers. A few Pelikan, Caran D'Ache and Montblanc fountain pens as well.

Too late for your advice, there's tons of stuff written down on paper here. Nothing I'm ashamed of, or what did you think I write? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=216&topic_id=3555

21. Those are NOT IKEA pen holders!!!!
Edited on Sat Dec-12-09 02:03 AM by Heidi
What an outrage!!!

IKEA's silver-gray desk organizing products are coated mesh. What CMW has is a group of weighted, chrome Brico brush holders up-cycled to hold his jillion graphics pens!!! :yoiks:

In the background: this pen holder is not an IKEA product

IKEA's mesh office product (wastepaper basket). We have two of these.

:D

24. Oh no!
I've sparked Heidi's temper! My sincerest apologies for mistaking CMW's pen holders as IKEA products...Nice wastepaper basket...it looks just like mine

And now I'm seriously off to IKEA to get more shit I probably don't need

This snow, I tell you, it's serious. It's serious snow. It's no toy. It's made in China! I assume we all gonna die here, but I have to try it.

If it turns out to be like the wonderful 'ice-crystal spray' for your windows you'll never can clean off your windows afterward, I'm going to sue China over this.

33. I fear I can do the same tomorrow,
but keep in mind, that'll be just this boring natural snow, frozen water, ice crystals. Boooooring! This one is brought to you by DOW, 'A Better Life Through Chemistry.' I mean, it's polymers 'n stuff! It's nerdy, it's geeky. It's instant snow all year round. Impress your family (okay, shooting them may top this.)

;)

Heidi: It was sitting there on the shelf.
CMW: That's amazing. Instant snow! I always wanted it. And it's made in China!
Heidi: We're probably gonna die after you open the can.
