Californians don't know how to fucking drive in the rain. |
|
I say that as a native Californian.
The folks here have only 2 speeds that they drive when it rains: 5 mph, and 95 mph.
Obviously, when those types of folks meet on the road, the only winner is the law of physics which says that two objects can not occupy the same space at the same time.

3. As a fellow native Californian I say |

I bet like a lot of other examples of lame/annoying "Californians" if you checked you'd find many of these poor drivers are transplants.I find that most of my neighbors who complain about the weather turn out to have moved here from other parts of the country.
I recently read a ton of first hand reports and observations about Spanish, Mexican and early post gold rush California, written roughly from around 1700-1875. Two things struck me. All reports complained about the weather, especially here in norther CA (people from elsewhere). And most writers complained that Californos rode their horses and drove their buggy's way too fast.

4. Okay, you may have a point. |
|
Especially considering that most Californians are not natives.
