A warning to other DU Loungers. |
|
This happened to me a few years ago, but the impression it left will stay with me.
3 years ago, I had a vasectomy. The weekend after the surgery, I made the mistake of taking my prescribed vicodin, and washing it down with a Trader Joe's Anniversary Ale. That is a VERY strong beer. Now, I'm not saying that it messed me up. But what I am saying is that the combination of beer, vicodin, blood loss from the surgery, and residual local anesthetic made me find Mexican wrestling the most fascinating thing on the planet.

1. I promise that if I ever have a vasectomy I will keep that in mind. |
|
If you had much blood loss, I suspect your surgeon was doing something wrong.

Just enough to make the substances hit me rather harder than they ordinarily would have.
