The poor guy has a terrible sinus infection, though. That just doesn't seem right.

3. Have you ever tried those nasal strips? |
|
They actually work fairly well, at least for helping with breathing through the nose. I forget to use them, but usually like how they opened things up more...
I hope he gets better

5. My aunt says that I saw logs in my sleep. |
|
Also, she says that my 17 year old cat, Sunday Girl, and I snore in unison. She can tell when I get my best sleep: when Sunday Girl is snoring in unison with me.

rhythm from each other, producing one long, unceasing ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ until one of them rolls over and stops.

snoring has kept my wife and I sleeping in different rooms, the past 3 months.
I can't being to express how much the "snoring" aspect of a relationship would cause such, well..grief.

Even as bad as it was last night, I fell asleep pretty quickly...considering! Hope you & your wife work that out somehow.

This is something that has a high concordance with snoring, and is a bad thing. Worth checking out: http://www.stanford.edu/~dement/apnea.html

9. I've been told by roommates and lady friends that I snore like a buzzsaw. |
|
I think it's sinus-related. I have a ton of sinus problems.

13. His snoring is sinus-related as well |
|
My husband has already had two surgeries to try to help his sinuses. He gets sinus infections, this time of the year, like clockwork. And believe me when I say he's tried everything possible to avoid them. :-(

There's a fairly new technique called sinu balloon rhinoplasty (I think that's whats called.) It's been getting good reviews. They use a balloon to expand the sinus channel. Is that one of the things you've tried?

He first had to have a new nostril drilled -- no kidding! He had so much cartilage built up. He thinks it might be from broken noses due to many years of soccer. The other surgery actually removed the septum and turned it around the other way! He used to get 4 or 5 sinus infections per year. His current doc thinks it great he's made it this far into winter without one. I feel really horrible for him... no mater what he tries (sinus rinse, humidifiers, sprays, etc.) he gets infections. I'll tell him about the sinu balloon rhinoplasty. For some reason, his newest doc says sinus surgery won't help b/c it's allergy (and dryness) related.

I snore like a sailor. Ear plugs are your friend. A good swift kick in the ass doesn't hurt either.

26. I am very heavy so of course i snore.. |
|
Sleep Apnea, CPAP, been there, done that. My CPAP wore out,it was 17 years old, and I was scheduled to do a sleep test to get a new one. I cancelled the appointment but I need to go in and get it done.
What's crazy, is even when I quit smoking, got in shape, started body building and losing 60 pounds,I still snored with Apnea.

In their old house, my room was on the far side of the house from my parents. And I could not tell the difference between my mom's snoring and the Semi's that would drive by during the night.

33. Hubby snores so loudly sometimes I just get up and go to my study |
|
and climb into the twin bed there and fall soundly asleep.
I highly recommend setting up an alternative sleeping place as an escape for yourself that isn't the living room couch. You'll feel much better in the morning.
