This is what I woke up to this morning

Just thought I would show off my newest IKEA kitchen item. Wall of herbs.

2. My dear theNotoriousP.I.G.!
Wow, what nice pictures!

Now, you may think that these are ordinary scenes; after all, you see them every day...

But for us, your friends far away, these are peeks into your life, and it's wonderful!

Snow...very pretty! I love the contrast between the snow and the dark branches.

And I love your kitchen's wall of herbs...

It looks like a very nice work space!

Thanks for sharing, sweetie!

4. Yikes on the first one,
that's usually heading right to here ...

Very nice herbs. Let me know how long they stay this green. ;)

:hi:

7. Hee hee
You and Heidi are going to have a white Christmas too!

I'm wondering how long my herbs are going to stay green too. They are in the kitchen which is pretty far away from any outdoor light source. Fuck it though, they are like a Euro a piece. I'll just keep replacing them.

10. Smelled like snow today already,
and yes, there's snow in the forecast. What's actually funny is that we here get especially Munich's weather a day later. Don't ask me why, there's the alps in between and it's close to Italy. But if it snows in Munich, it snows here a day later.

Must be the Lederhosen we all wear. ;)

16. Do you get the föhn too?
It makes people go insane here. They get in car wrecks, have their circulatory systems fail and all kinds of crazy shit.

Have fun in the snow coming your way :)

17. Not so much in the Southern part,
but back in Zurich, oh yeah, you could tell.

I'll take pics when the snow arrives here.

And I love the garden fences behind your house, too. :hi:

I can't find that on ikea's website. Was it something else you converted for that use?

8. Thanks hippywife!
It was a sight for sore eyes this morning, the snow. It makes everything look so beautiful and the muted sounds are so wonderful!

The wall of herbs is a standard IKEA product here in Germany....maybe not in the US though?

12. Oh pretty snow!
I wish we could have a little indoor herb garden. Unfortunately, our cats would see it as a cat feast!

18. Get them their own cat nip plants
and they might leave your herbs alone.

my cats are little piglets. Tried everything (including getting them their own potted grass to eat) & they still mow down every last leaf in the house!!
