Pet peeve: People who feel the need to "conduct" 'Happy Birthday'.
People who try to harmonize, all right, I get it. I even sympathize. But conduct? It's just a little silly...

And if this is you, I still love you... ;-)

I'm just sayin'...

1. No prob with the conductors, just the ones who always insist on the perennially awkward....
"And man-y more...."

I usually want to string those people up from a lightpole and catch their feet on fire.

And put bugs in their food.

And perhaps key their car.

5. Well cool then. Of course that's a bit overstated but you get the jist obviously.
:fistbump:

It's more metaphorical than literal. I would never do that to people. In reality. But my fantasy world is something else entirely.

6. Course then, there's always the servers at restaurants to try to be cool
by clapping their hands and singing, "Happy happy, birthday birthday" ... or whatever it is they say. And I'm thinking you guys aren't doing anyone a bit of good. And by the way, you do look and sound a little foolish when you do that. Sorry to the Loungers who have actually done that.

It's just not a good look.

And if this is you, I still really like you a lot :)

I'm just sayin'...
