I'm looking for some new bedtime music, so pls tell me:
What's the most beautiful song recording, in your opinion?

I like to go to sleep with my iPod headphones on. Thank you so much for sharing.

2. Try Brian Eno's "Ambient Music for Airports".
I can't say it is "the most beautiful", but it will help you sleep. As for "most beautiful", how about "Sylvan Song/Dream of the Archer" by Heart?

10. Trivia: Brian Eno had an unusual credit on the 1974 Genesis album "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway"
Edited on Wed Dec-16-09 12:25 PM by HopeHoops
It reads: "Enosification: Brian Eno"

On Edit:

Speaking of unusual credits, Terri Nunn of the group Berlin had one on the "Pleasure Victim" album: "Terri Nun: Vocals, BJs".

12. Thanks for the trivia ! Those are great If I were a rockstar I would want my
music to be Eno-fied.

4. I dunno about most beautiful, but for bedtime listening, try these:
Mazzy Star, So Tonight That I Might See
The Innocence Mission, Glow
Cowboy Junkies, The Trinity Session
Belle and Sebastian, The Boy With the Arab Strap
Japancakes, The Sleepy Strange (just about anything from the Kindercore label at the turn of the century, actually)
Brian Eno, Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks

11. Grover Washington's 'Round Midnight is my favorite but he did a LOT more
Playing the soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones, he produced a relaxing smooth soulful sound that is just wonderful as you drift off to sleep.

21. 'Round Midnight is a great song covered by all the great ones but Grover was special
See if you can tract down Grover Washington's cover of 'Ain't No Sunshine'; a sleepy tune for sure.
