cat proof christmas tree
Max would always eat parts of the christmas tree each year. Last year we found this tree and put it up.

12. Love the fish stocking
I have a 'Fishmas tree'. It's covered in steam fish, Santa fishermen, snowman fishermen, poles, lures, bass and trout twinkle light covers, creoles, hip waders, hats, vests, and a cat in a Santa gown holding a fish for the topper. Wish I could post pictures. My son gave me a digital camera that didn't work very well and I never got the hang of using it.

This little notebook I use has a camera hole on the lid but I have now clue how to hook it up or I take some pictures and show you.

Gosh, I think your tree is hilarious.

11. aluminium foil works?
we tried a moat of plastic bags last year and Esther either jumped over them or pushed through enough of a hole to squeeze through. If the foil works, I'll have to bring a roll up with me when I take Esther to my parents' house for the holiday.

15. none of ours like the way it feels to touch or walk on
so I drape it over my leather sofa to keep the fuzzies off. We also had to place it on the floor near the front door to keep one from whizzing every time we left the house. It worked and we did have to use it forever.

Some cats dont mind it, but many/most stay away from it

18. My sister's idea
She had 3 boys under 12, 3 dogs, 2 cats and a small house so she actually nailed the tree to the floor for a couple of years. It was easier than picking it up and putting it back together every couple of hours.
