The cold weather is making one of my cats PSYCHO. |
|
Some of you might remember me posting about my cats playing with their water, staring at it and knocking it over. Well, now Sophie, the main instigator is just plain insane. The past few mornings she's been pestering me between 4-5 to get up and play. This morning she did that. I was able to ignore her until 6am when my alarm went off. But even after I got up she was bonkers. She was running back and forth accross the bed and pouncing on anything that moved including her sisters tail (lol!). But at one point I looked over and she was crouched down in front of me, ears turned to the side, with big black INSANE eyes...I got out of there fast. Seriously, these past couple of weeks with the arrival of the cold have made her much more crazy than usual (she was running in circles on the bed with no toy around the other weekend). I've seen them get hyper in fall, but this is the first time I've seen this maniacal hyper behavior with winter. Anyone else having psycho kitty behavior?

1. He's just feeling his oats. They get all frisky from time to time. |

Mine wakes me every day at 4:30 and 6:00. I guess he tells time by the sun (or reasonable facsimile thereof). I suppose when they run around, they realize the cold is not bothering them so much. So they run around more, to keep warm. dc

It's all your fault for being a big pharma shill(tm) and putting up your cats for use in drug trails to round out your income. Sure, an extra mocha latte a day is nice, but think of the price your cats are paying. Think, will you!!
Well, at least they'll know to put "side effects include wild, staring eyes and knocking over water-filled objects". (shakes head sadly)
