It's the final question of who wants to be a millionaire, you have 1 lifeline left... |
|
phone a friend. You can phone Palin or Bush. Which do you choose?

1. Honestly, of the two... |
|
Palin. She drones on/talks a lot, and perhaps through all of her rambling she might spark my brain and I can answer the question.
If it was Bush, all you would hear would be "ahh, hmm, err, gosh!"

3. Bush. With luck maybe I'd get a sports question and he could be of use. |
|
I'm guessing that, like most guys who can't remember what they ate for breakfast or how to tie their shoes, he's got quite a bit of useless sports trivia tucked away.
Sadly, even though Palin was briefly employed as a sportscaster, I'm willing to bet even Bush manages to outshine her on that one. Plus he actually did get an education, so maybe a random brain cell would fire off at the moment and he might remember some obscure fact you wouldn't suspect of him. Palin would be useless in almost any circumstance- even if she knew the answer your time would be up before she got around to babbling it, Bush would almost certainly be wrong but he'd at least spit something out.

4. Dubya, for sure. I'll take my chances on the drunk over the total moron. |
|
I've seen Dubya's debates with Ann Richards. There is at least half a brain in there, pickled as it may be from years of alcohol and drug abuse. There is a small chance that he could provide at least some tiny amount of help.
Palin, on the other hand, has never demonstrated anything other than that she is thoroughly stupid.

5. Palin. Bush wouldn't even be able to answer the phone without instructions. |
|
"Uh, Dick, my ears are ringing, like the time Jenna used that phone thingie to tell me she was in jail. I don't remember what to do. Could you come down here? Yeah, I know Karl's supposed to help me, but he's finishing up my coloring books for the library I'm building."
Palin's twice as smart as Bush. That's not a whole lot. Either way, you ain't going to get the right answer.

Of course there's no guarantee that he wouldn't lie about what the answer is.

You don't have to use the lifelines. In that case, it would be better to walk away.

19. Bush for brevity. It would at least eliminate one of the answers. |
|
Palin is also guaranteed to at least eliminate one answer but she would take too long telling you what it is.

21. Bush, because I'm sure the answer would be about acshionable intelligensch, |
|
and that could be the winner.
On the other hand, Sarah could help me pull ahead if the question was about the longest sentence ever spoken, that had absolutely no relation whatsoever to anything that ever happened in the real world, in the history of the real world.
So, hmmmm... tough choice, I guess.

22. Neither I would just take a calculated risk |

Palin is an idiot and McCain has memory issues. So I would have a 33.33 chance of getting the answer right.
