Poll question: Big Bang Theory
I have become a fan. One of the best written and funniest shows I have watched in decades. What do you think?

5. I caught about two minutes of it.
Poorly written network trash. I've never seen nerd humor so horrible uninteresting and formulaic. And that's saying a lot.

8. Love it. Good comedy.
I don't recall an episode where at some point I wasn't falling from my chair laughing.

10. I guess Penny's attraction to Leonard isn't such a mystery.
My wife thinks Jonathan Galecki is hot.

Anyway, I have reason to be happy for that. I'm the nerd who married the superhot lady! B-)

11. "the nerd who married the superhot lady"
That tired cliche is the show's biggest drawback IMO.

I believe that poster was responding to another poster, not the show :)

12. Kaley Cuoco is real cute and real purdy.
That's no reason to watch this pos show, though.

17. 100% agreed.
It's proof modern TV can be decent!

(my "Star Trek" comment notwithstanding, however... )

15. It is poorly written.
See, Sheldon prefers "Star trek V" to "Star Trek The Motion Picture". Did the writers sit through both movies? "Trek V" camps up and makes a mockery out of the crew (it's on par with Abram's scribbled garbage) and "The Motion Picture" has a lot of hard sci-fi integrated into it.

Sheldon's personality type would reflect a greater interest in "The Motion Picture".

To say the very least.

Also, in that photo with Penny giving the weird eyes, is Sheldon staring down her blouse?

22. Hard sci-fi in ST:TPM? Puh-leeze.
Hard sci-fi anywhere in the franchise? PUH-LEEZE!

In this regard, Abrams' version is no more guilty than any other installment of the franchise.

24. "Okay, first of all that is a comparison of quality not intensity. Secondly,
Star Trek I is orders of magnitude worse than Star Trek V. Star Trek V has specific failures in writing and direction while Star Trek I fails across the board."

Season 2 was the best so far, then season 1, then season 3
