5. Actually, the next-closest one is several miles further away.
I had to look them up online to find them (way out on outer Westheimer, here.)

But, I got a nice little fold-up hand-truck :D

If they don't have it, you probably don't need it.

Seriously, my local True Value Hardware Store is about 1/10 the size of Home Depot, but they almost always have whatever I need.

7. Mine too-- they got stuff the Borg never heard of...
like a tiny metric DIN-threaded machine bolt for a German gizmo not sold here any more.

Amazing places good hardware stores can be.

El Camino jut east of Watt Ave.

You'd need a flight to Sacramento first, but it's a very well-run hardware store.
