Back in the day.

When you hear or read a reference to 'back in the day',
what decade comes to mind?

1. I am a child of the sixties.

And learned to distrust politicians in the seventies.

2. mostly I think of the 70's

because that was my "back in the day"
but it depends on who is saying it, I guess

4. I think of the 50s, unless my dad is talking then it's the 20s.

3. For me, the 1980s or 1990s

because that's when I grew up.

5. I think of the 30-40s

That's when my parents were young, and that's when things were really different, even compared to the 60-70s, when I was a kid. My dad is always talking about how it was back then.

6. For me, late 70's, early 80's,

unless I have to figure out what the one I've heard it or read it off means by it. If it's my grand mother telling me this (who turns 97 this year) it goes back quite some time. :hi:
