Another clothing store rant. |
|
I'm 5 feet tall with a 62 inch "waist" and a 20 inch inseam.
Where can I buy some pants?
Yesterday, I wrapped a garbage bag around myself and went to...Target, Old Navy, Kohl's, Walmart, even the Big Fat and Ugly Men's Outlet.
Walmart had a pair that kind of fit me, but they were plaid pink, with some kind of fucking NASCAR decal on the crotch.
Does anyone know where I can buy some pants that are stylish and fit me well?
Thank you.

1. Well, you can either get patterns and make your own, |
|
try a Men's Warehouse, or indidenim.com
But, I can sympathize with you. I'm 5'6" have a 36" inseam and wear a size 12 womens jean. Every time I try on a pair of jeans that fit my hips, the damn things end about an inch above my ankle (the label may read 'long', but the legs aren't). Pisses me off. I'm not even going to get into the whole trying to find a shirt for a back that doesn't really exist. Seriously, my shoulders sprout from my hips.
Good luck with your search.

2. Thank you, that's a good idea... |

Now if I can only find a fedora that fits. My head looks like two watermelons duct taped together.

4. Well what the fuck did you EXPECT to find at WalMart??? |
|
That's their main customer demographic - ugly plaid pink with a NASCAR crotch.

I had to go there to buy bras for my 91 year old mother once.
I don't know anything about bras.
I just grabbed a handful and got the hell out of there.
Of course, none of them were the right ones, and I had to return them all.
Buying bras for your 91 year old mother who is in a nursing home will give you a special kind of nightmare.

If you had qualified it as "I don't know anything about bras for a 91 year old woman", then I would believe it.
I've got a wife and three daughters. Up until a year or so ago, I bought all of their bras. The girls like to try them on first now, but I still buy all of the ones for my wife. That's easy because all she wears are sports bras - same size every time.
On Edit: She has to wear bras for her teaching job (company requirement) and for karate (self-destruction avoidance). Otherwise, fuck 'em.

8. Well, all I can tell you is that... |
|
When I walked into the bra section, I started to sweat and panic. I got real dizzy, heard all of this white noise, and almost passed out.
