So I spent my whole day trying to rescue my XP machine so I wouldn't have
to re install all the software on my Vista Machine...

Still can't get it out of Safe Mode. I have tried everything I know and then some. sometimes it gets rid of stuff then I have to recapture say my internet. I just can't it to reboot into XP.

Any suggestions...

9. Do you have the XP disk?
Have you tried a fresh install? You know, like format the hard drive and then install the OS?
