| Just got home from ER with pain pills. OMG I finally feel soooo much better. |

I've had moderate to severe back and abdominal cramping for 2+ days - for those women who have experienced back labor, that's exactly what it felt like. For men who have no idea, trust me, it's extremely painful.
All the serious stuff like kidney or gall stone ruled out. They found a large hiatal hernia, but that doesn't explain the back pain. Have to follow up with GP this week.
But tonight, I can FINALLY relax, and get some sleep for a change.
One complication, not a big one, I need to give the majority of my pain meds to my sponsor tomorrow. I'll keep enough for a day or day and a half at a time. I've been sober for 8 months and I don't want to fuck it up. The pain meds could prove to be too tempting.
So who else is up?

you are feeling better. I know EXACTLY what back labor pain feels like, so I know what you have been going through.
Hope that you can find the cause and hope that you never have to experience that again.

that they can figure out what is wrong with you and fix it so that you don't need those meds anymore. :hug: (Any chance your body thinks it's actually in labor for some reason? For me, certain times of the month I could swear I am having a baby it hurts so bad. :( )

I have a follow up this afternoon.
No chance my body thinks it's pregnant, not for 20 years now. :)
