$6.99 for 75 sq ft of heavy duty Reynolds.

At this rate I'll have to start accepting the intercranial transmissions.

1. I've been buying the cheapie brand, 25' for .79
at Sav-A-Lot (no affiliation whatsoever). (The Monopoly-Mart (naw) version has become more expensive than this, in every length. I bought it there for years at (around) 1.49 for 75'... the 200' was (around) 4.12... go figure.)

But it isn't heavy duty. I think maybe they have heavy-duty, at least in the wider form, but I don't buy it, so I don't pay attention to it.

It's been going up for years; I think the last time I checked a cheapie 75' at Monopoly-Mart, it was 2.78.

2. The price of aluminum foil rises and falls in direct proportion...
...to Glenn Beck's ratings.

6. Time to take that mountain of aluminum cans to the recycler
I could use the money--and the room in my garage. Of course, with my luck, they're probably still not paying out much for scrap aluminum.

8. Have you checked at Costco??? I usually get two giant things there for a good
price but I can't remember the exact price/size at the moment. It's a way better deal than any regular stores though, expecially for the jumbo size and the heavy duty.

9. Get the store brand. It can be half or less of the price.
Every time you see a print ad, hear an ad on the radio, or see one on TV, just remember that ad when you're in the grocery store and try to imagine how much of the item's price goes toward funding those ads. That's why house brand "oat rings" are $2.00 for the same size Cheerios box at $4.29.

11. !

BTW, good news is we finally fired Nick Folk.
Bad news is we replaced him with Shaun Suisham. (He missed a potential game winning 23 yarder just a couple of weeks ago.)

19. Well, that makes sense.
I never shopped Albertson's if I could help it when they had stores here. Too damned expensive!

15. Funny, I had the same jolt while shopping the other day...
I usually buy the jumbo size, 200 sq. ft., so it's a long time between foil purchases. And the price had nearly doubled. Big shiny bummer.
