I wonder how many of the "Cameron works for the Evil Empire" people are Star Wars fans? |

I've pretty much come to the realization that Fox's entertainment arm and Fox Noise are pretty much independent of each other.
Twentieth Century Fox doesn't do political, and it's amazingly so that Sunday's cartoons on Fox pretty much all bend to the liberal side.
Cursing Cameron because he made a movie for TCF doesn't make any sense to me at all.
BTW, I'll see Avatar eventually, most likely, when it hits cable.

1. I'll wait until it hits RedBox. It might be worth a dollar. |

2. I think it would be a good movie to see on any format. |

But Avatar is one of those films that really should be seen on the big screen for maximum impact. Since I became a father, I see movies in the theater a whole lot less than I used to. Rather, I've been investing in my home theater to compensate for that. I still see about 4 or 5 movies a year in the theater and I'm very glad that Avatar was one of them. Simply a gorgeous and jaw-dropping film.

3. Fox entertainment enriches Rupert Murdoch... |

...making him more powerful and better able to push his hard-right agenda. Yes, Cameron is helping him, but so are all the rest of us who patronize Fox.
