Man this is a good holiday season! Last year my beautiful Jewish daughter graduated from Cal Berkeley with highest honors.

My sweet 20 y/o son is working his way through college.

My two dogs are well fed. We're not living out of the truck anymore. Have a decent small apartment in S/F. Am dating a nice formerly Jewish woman who now practices Buddhism. We're going skating Christmas Day and caroling with a band at Left O'Douls Christmas eve.

Know what "Episcopal" is an anagram for what?

Pepsi Cola! Hah! The priest just taught me that last week.

Me and the dogs don't have much in the way of money but we damn sure got it made!

Cheers and Merry whatever you want (Christmas too)

1. Back to you!! Happy Holidays
Sounds like an awesome time in SF!

I, too have been enjoying this season so far here in Montana, aside from the sub-zero temp few days last week.
Last day of class today.

Daughters both home until Jan 5, decorating the house.
My oldest (20) has taken up baking as a hobby!
We've had pies, cookies, brownies, fudge, bread almost every day for a week!

My dog is getting old, but still enjoys her walk on the neighborhood trail everyday.

With the kids and the dog still around, got all we need!

2. Oh bless them dogs!
I don't know what I'd do without my dogs. One good thing they do is eliminate my non dog loving associates.

People who can't see the good in dogs usually complain about the habits, instincts and the smells of dogs. Much as i try and keep the boys clean there is often just a little bit of doggyness in the room. Not much but some.

So those people who value materiel things over the goodness of dogs disappear. Like magic!

I have known landlords who don't like to rent to dog care people. Yet I have never met a dog i didn't like. Nor a landlord I did. So your dogs help select the best of friends!
