I am sorry I disappeared so suddenly. But work actually was very busy the last few weeks so I didn't have the time to come to DU. I missed you though.

I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas/Happy Chanukka/Happy Holidays!!



Have fun with your family and friends and enjoy the hopefully peaceful time.
My family will come to my place this year. The first Christmas in the new condo. Looking forward to it. My mom and her bf are coming today, my brother tomorrow. They all will stay till Sunday.

and the saying. I don't mail out holiday cards, and for some reason, I've been getting several in the mail, so in the spirit of staying green, I decided to make my own e-card.

I'm heading out to the Twin Cities this morning for a nice long holiday weekend with family. I'm really looking forward to it, although I was there at Thanksgiving. We always have such fun when we are together. Major snow is predicted and I'm going to try to be off the road b/4 it hits. I'm seriously thinking about taking my x-country skis along! ;)

We have a Rottweiler angel as a tree topper. Just the other day I realized how very tacky it is, lol! But we loved our old dog and we thought it was so fun at the time. Now the kids won't let me get rid of it. Ah, the little traditions that stick.

but will work between the years. My boss is on vacation so I have to keep the position :)

but I think I'm going to be the only person in...so I'm going to watch a movie or something.

Then I'm out Friday. After that I'll be taking off New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

25th: Roulade mediterrian style (with pine seeds, pancetta and basil)
26th: Westphalian peppered stew

Deserts will be: Crepes Suzette, Mousse au Chocolat, profiterole (no idea yet when we have what)

Also we will have entrees. And I will bake a pumpkin pie :)
