It's fine in ice cream or mixed with chocolate. Otherwise, I can take it or leave it. I'll eat a candy cane if my sweet tooth is acting up and there's nothing else around. Unless, of course, it's one of those new-fangled "other" flavors, like cherry...

I like the big ones that last forever. Those dinky, skinny ones that are made to hang on the tree are just stretched out Life-Savers.

I have some gorgeous antique tall fluted ice cream cups that I found at a flea market. I fill them with candy canes and set them around the house. They're usually gone by New Years.
I like the look of them more than the taste though.
