The calendar year 2009...or as I like to call it, "The 21,900 Hour Proctological Examination"

Seriously, even though 2010 "could be" worse than 2009, I am so fucking happy to see this miserable year come to an end.

It wasn't the year of change many of us hoped for, but I think we can all agree that 2009 under the auspices of McCain-Palin would have been one hell of a lot worse. Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran, anyone?

There are people reading this who might have had a great year, and others who made my 2009 look like a walk in the park. On average, I think we all deserved better. In 2010, I hope 2009 takes its rightful place as a bad memory and we begin the uphill climb, no matter how slow or steep that might be.
