I'm turning fifteen in two days.
Edited on Fri Dec-25-09 06:14 PM by Progressivism
I moved to "Queens,NY" from "Orlando,Florida."

I didn't receive any Christmas Presents today.

I feel I should already have the right to vote.

Edit:Oh, and I am downloading Finale Reader right now.

1. If you've been folllowing DU regularly, you are probably more informed
than most voters. Do you know who your House Rep. is in your new district? Have you taken a look at the NY forum on DU? Queens is a whole county. If you know the name of your individual community, you can look up the Dem party there and get a little involved.

I hope you like your new school. Sometimes doing something like baking cookies from scratch and giving them away is almost (but not quite) as good as getting presents. At least you feel like part of the celebration. Good luck to you in your new home.

5. Do you know that the OPer is a boy?
Is this a test of whether even a desperate teen-aged boy would be willing to take a pink netbook?

Look, how 'bout just dropping your kid off w/ the netbook and the receipt at the store tomorrow, let him pick out the new one, and make him wait in the lines to exchange it. He can call you to pick him up when he's done. Since it's a Xmas gift, they won't demand to see the credit card. Win-win.
