miss_american_pie appreciation thread (I have an ulterior motive for this)

Happy Anniversary miss_american_pie (5 years of being my friend)
I have to do a little PDA (Public Display of Affection) now in honor of her and her friendship.
(She is first going to blush when she reads this, then kill me) :yoiks:
Five years ago on this very date I had my first encounter with her.
It was one of my "woe is me" type threads and she responded rather bluntly and honestly,
and I thought she was a bitch.
As it turned out though,she was absolutely right.
And first impressions are often wrong,
with regards to miss_pie, they were.
Back then I was going through a pretty rough spell and
She would often comment on my threads and post,
always being positive and sweet to me.
I thought she was a really really nice person.
Then one day she made the mistake of posting her picture.:)
O.M.F.G! Was she beautiful!
I developed a gynormous crush on her.
But even though she was never interested in that from me she was always very nice and humored me.
This to me speaks volumes about her.
We would exchange PM's(most of them were her being nice and me fawning). :)
Then one day we did a phone call.
It was short and sweet yet it opened a greater dialog between us.
We would text message each other and then we'd do more and more phone calls
And it helped bring us closer as friends.
When I had to go to the doctor,she would check on me,before and after.
When hard times hit she would be there for me and I for her.
She has been the most amazing friend!
I have no idea what I must have done right to deserve her friendship
but I'll take it!! :woohoo:
And Jen.
I'll never be able to thank you enough for your friendship and for being the rock you have been to me.
I adore you my friend.
(I'll stop embarrassing you now) ;)
To the next five years of friendship and beyond. :toast:

I just got off the phone with her and read her this thread(She has to work and won't see it today),I couldn't make it through reading it to her without choking up a little(I'm such a sap). :silly:
