i bought the tickets online a few days back- luckily, because all of the imax shows ended up being sold out today.
there was something i thought about as i watched it this time through- ALL of the animals on pandora,- the mammals anyway- have six limbs- the horses, the lemurs, the dog/wolf things in the nighttime jungle, etc... so- why do the na'vi only have 4 limbs? on earth- i can't think of any land mammals that don't have 4 limbs just like humans do...are there? it's been awhile since i took biology or studied evolution- so maybe i'm off base here- but wouldn't both evolution and biology tend to support the idea that they should all have the same number of limbs?

Also the connect thingie was dual in the animals but single in the tribals. My guess is that in order to elicit sympathy with a wide audience they would have to be as human like as possible.
