ARRGH! I just need a good reliable web hosting company!!

I have been trying to do research to find a good web hosting company for a fairly simple website and Im going CRAZY!

EVERY site has a slew of "good press" that look like ads in disguise. Then there are user complaints on *all* of them.

I started looking at godaddy = but they $$ and I guess Right Wingers.

Then there are the the cheap "justhosts", etc that seem to be run out of India - and have a TON of "these guys suck", "scammers", etc

I was looking at iPower and iPage (both out of MA - I think) - which look almost identical in appearance which is weird. But I dont find a lot about them.... but iPage is really inexpensive at $3.50/mo and iPower is about $5.95/mo. So what's the diff??


This stuff is driving me crazy - can anyone that has a host recommend on or the other? Im tempted to go with iPage since they are cheaper. But I have seen a few people here (on old posts) that have iPower.

Help?
