5. We got my youngest daughter two pairs of red nunchucks for Christmas.
She loved them. She's got other pairs, but this was her first matching double set. My middle one is into swords and we didn't get her one this year. She did get two of them for her birthday this summer. The eldest is more into knives, but she recently got two cool ones from her grandfather. My wife likes any kind of martial arts weapon but she didn't get any this year either. It was a weird year, with so little weaponry being exchanged.

7. Hey, my wife tests in February for her 3rd degree black belt.
The kids (one is 18, kids?) are also 2nd degree but a few stripes below her. You need to pass 7 tests to get from 2nd to 3rd degree.
