1. Avatar
I just wrote another post about it... but I found it totally boring and a waste of my time. I actually walked out of it into a snowstorm, to take a walk and get some exercise and fresh air. I didn't see any reason for this movie to exist in the 45-50 minutes thst I invested in it. Waste of time; and I have NEVER walked out of a film until today.

2. Ninja Assassin
Over the top, campy gore with weak plot.

3. Sherlock Holmes
good actors, good supporting cast, amusing yet boring special effects, almost a good script, crappy director. Interesting aspects would make an oh so brief cameo while being subsumed by the wretched directing and clumsy lines. It isn't bad enough to be worth seeing. It represent a bit of time I'll never get back. I was with 3 other people who felt the same. one of them was lucky enough to fall asleep. turns out all of us thought about leaving soon after the fun started.

8. Have you seen any other Guy Ritchie movies?
He was being a relatively tame director compared to his other films...

5. Taking Woodstock
I was so excited about this movie, I wanted a Woodstock movie that talked about more than all the bad stuff (the drug culture had causalities, and there was alot of garbage, I get all that), maybe a movie that focused on the dreams of that generation. Unfortunately, this was not that movie.

But most of all, for a movie that focused on the music event of the century, to be made without any of that music seemed like a bad cruel joke on the paying audience. A movie set in the golden age of rock, about one of the biggest events in rock, and it had NO soundtrack to speak of. What a waste, not to mention bad movie making, IMHO.
