...every couple months when home life got dull, I'd fake a suicide attempt, wait for Clarence to zap me out of existence, spend a wild anonymous night in Pottersville, then wish myself out of it when it was time to pay my tab. No hangover, no lipstick on my collar, and the perfect alibi for Mary--I was up on that old bridge the entire time!



How many times do you think I'd get away with it before those giant glowing blobs up in the sky caught on?

1. I'd have liked to have the liquor distributorship for Pottersville.

Bedford Falls, not so much. Sleepy, once-prosperous little cities like that are a dime-a-dozen in rural New York.
