Stupid Milk Question
Okay, I dont drink Milk so I'm not exactly sure on these things. What is regular milk? I have a recipe that calls for milk. I dont want to go for healthy so no skim. So what is regular old milk?

1. For a recipe, 1% or 2% is fine.

2. Disagree - If it calls for "milk" use full fat.
And 1% or 2% or skim isn't worth drinking at all.

3. In the store it would say whole milk.
But I doubt you'd notice any difference if you use 2%, I only have skim, 1 or 2% in my house (depending on my mood), I use it in baking without any problems.

9. Sometimes it just says Vitamin D milk. Pretty much if it doesn't say skim, 1% or 2%
it's probably whole milk.

4. "Regular milk" is whole milk---at least 3% butterfat content. Anything less is low-fat or skim.

5. A to your Q
May I know the % of fat content in whole milk as compared to 2%? Thanks.
Whole milk is 3.5% (approximately as it depends on the cow's diet) and 2% contains just 2% fat. There is approximately 1 1/2 tsp. of butter in whole, 1 tsp. of butter in 2% milk, 1/2 tsp. of butter in 1% and no butter in skim.
