1. I am sorry that you are depressed.
I hope that tomorrow is a better day for you. :)

2. Thanks. Hopefully. It's a life long problem for me.....
Depression and Anxiety. I need to get a job and stop living as a shutin (like I have been the past 7 months).

3. Long time problem for me too...so I understand how it feels.
But remember this, no one else is judging you as harshly as you are judging yourself.

Take one step and a time, and take the steps as slowly as you can.

Your physical and mental health comes first and foremost.

If you have a mental illness that requires you to live differently that other people...it is OK.

You will get a job when you are ready to get a job. Living as a shut-in may not be completely desirable to most, but at least it means that you have shelter.

Take care of yourself, treat yourself well, love yourself, and do not feel like the world is judging you.

4. same with me recently, including the whole isloation thing, but I'm starting to snap out of it
just lucky I guess, because this is a disease, and you can't always just decide to be "cured". I have no real words of advice, but luckily Lefty's words are so spot-on that there'd be nothing to add anyway. Just want to add my best wishes and good thoughts for you and that if knowing that even strangers care, maybe it'll be just a tiny bit easier to deal with .
