Do you think Mike Brady was a high powered architect?
I mean the guy has this nice house, a wife who does not work, 6 kids AND a maid who lives with them (and wears a uniform). He must have been a really big time architect. Either that or it was just easier to make those kinds of ends meet on just one salary back then.

1. With 6 kids he didn't have to pay much income tax.
But then 6 kids did eat alot.

The kids could pass down the clothes, that would save money.

Mike would have made good money.

2. They were actually big time Amway distributors.
Architecture was just his day job.

4. Brady was hooked into the Medallin cartel.
Edited on Tue Dec-29-09 01:26 AM by MilesColtrane
He was Pablo Escobar's point man in El Norte during the 70's.

Brady was busted in '75 and walked on federal charges only to be found garroted in an adult film theater 3 weeks later.

Investigators suspected the Cali cartel was responsible, though no arrests were ever made.

5. I think Mike Brady worked for Howard Hughes.
Nobody really knows what Mike Brady did, but the paycheck was large and always on time.

If Mike Brady was an architect, he wasn't an ordinary architect.

8. Oh yeah.
Three kids to a room, and they all shared a bathroom as I recall. Mornings must have been hell around there.

10. Let's put it this way...
...nine folks in the house and one bathroom. And an astroturfed lawn. Nice convertible Baracuda, though.
