11. Sorry to break the trend but I enjoy ALW's work -

- "I Don't Know How To Love Him" from JCSS, "You Must Love Me" from Evita, not to mention the haunting "Pie Jesu" from his Requiem and there are many others that are beautifully written.

Not everyone has the same taste in music. That's okay. But the premise that one could compare the work of ALW to a smoke detector alarm is kinda' extreme.

Only because I think it would be more useful in a fire to have an alarm go off rather than an old British guy.
I could be wrong.

I don't hate ALW, I just prefer Sondheim.
I love Evita and there are songs from his other shows that I don't mind.
