Because I know one recently pregnant couple that I would throw a total veto on. People, just because you can have kids doesn't mean you should.

7. For example:
May We Suggest The Child Protective Services Ride
Amusement Park | Wisconsin, USA

(I am working at the bumper cars at an amusement park, where there is a height restriction. A guy comes up with his son who is clearly too short.)

Me: “I’m sorry sir, your son is too short to ride on the bumper cars.”

Customer: “I just waited for 2 hours in line to go on the bumper cars, and you won’t let my son ride!?”

Me: “I’m sorry, but there are signs outside that show the height restrictions before you got in line.”

(The customer then proceeds to grab his son around the throat and lift him up by the neck and holds him up to the sign.)

Customer: “There! Now he’s tall enough!”

Me: “Get the hell out of here!”

5. and the sad part is that people who willingly forgo reproduction are typically roasted
for not bringing children into the world.

i know a couple who didn't and won't have kids and it is their choice but they have caught hell from everyone.

meanwhile i had a dear friend who was always a tad selfish who should have never had kids who did and made them miserable.

crazy decisions, it makes the world go around.

6. Yep, I was roasted, by my oldest brother.
He lamented all of the "Patels" out there (common surname in India). I didn't know there was a rule that Wholesome White People(tm) must try to out-reproduce "Patels." If I had been aware, of course, I certainly would have had kids. :eyes:

10. What is ironic is that years after making that comment,
he became a State Department employee and lived in India for a while. He loved it!! His wife has quite a few Facebook friends from India (my brother doesn't have much of a web presence, so I don't know about him).

8. Agreed.
In my family of three siblings only the druggie, totally incompetent one, plus similar druggie hopeless hubbie has kids. Two to be exact.

Oh and better a homeschooling nut in order to avoid having to wash clothes, make kids get up early, and to avoid detection of child protection services.

"parental rights" are shit when applied to this person.

I know what you're saying. I try to stay away from saying who should and shouldn't have kids physically-wise. But there are just some seriously mean/cruel/stupid people out there. There are a few in my family...one person drugged her kid with Benadryl at three months old so he'd sleep through the night. She now denies it. (I know she'll never read this because she's a total conservative Jesus freak.)
