1. Joe Lieberman prediction for 2010

A foul ball off the bat of Joe Lieberman during a Democratic-party sponsored charity softball game (Lieberman will only be allowed to pinch-hit in a crucial situation with the game on the line) this July in Washington will strike an uninsured single mother of three in the stands. Her injury will require stitches and result in an unpaid hospital bill. In an amazing show of compassion, however, Lieberman will agree to “make some calls” to help the woman find a third minimum wage job at a fast-food restaurant, enabling her pay the hospital $197 for the next 38 months but disqualifying her for food stamps. FOX News pontificator Sean Hannity will accuse Lieberman of “going soft.”
