5. My dear Redstone...
I have no problem with "twenty-ten." I rather like how it rolls off my tongue...

I called the current year "two thousand nine."

10. Somehow I lost one of the zeros of this year.
I called it 2-0-9. I kept doing this all year although I knew it was two thousand and nine.

6. Well, 1910 was generally called nineteen-ten and since 19 is followed by 20
then 20-10 sounds ok too.

I did refer to this last year as 2 thousand and 9.

than it does to say "twenty-ten!"

19. One thousand nine hundred
We didn't say one thousand nine hundred ninety nine. We said nineteen ninety nine. Why wouldn't we say twenty ten. The only reason we said two thousand nine is because it would have been confusing to say two thousand oh nine, or two thousand and two, or twenty oh two.

21. twenty-ten?
I used to have 20/10 vision in my right eye.
.
Now, I wish I had 20/10 hindsight.
.
I'd make a killing in the market.
.
And I think we made a GRAVE mistake not calling the last
decade "The Naughties". Seemed a no-brainer to me.

25. No way I could call it that!!!
I'd probably be in a bad mood one day and someone would hear me say
something like, "I'm not about to call it fucking 'pre-teens'"...
and I'd end up having to register as a sex offender.
.
I wouldn't be very popular in prison, neither.
.
Or TOO popular....... I forget which.

26. I think we should use Roman numerals. MMX has a great sound to it.
That may not have been true in previous centuries. MCMXCIX would have given even Prince trouble.
