I just received this PM from our beloved theNotoriousP.I.G.:

Markus is being classified as brain dead as of tomorrow morning. If he lives that long. I will be a widow on his 33rd birthday. I am in shock and cannot believe this is happening. One second we were talking and driving and the next second he is gone. My heart, my life, my love. I don't know what I am going to do without him.

Your good thoughts and prayers for his safe passage will be most appreciated now...

As will your support for her during this time of excruciating grief...

I was afraid that this might happen, but I hoped he would live...

Alas, it was not to be.

The accident happened yesterday on a German autobahn; they had a collision with a semi-truck.

(who also happened to be from the same hometown that I am from) died in an auto accident in Italy, as did his best friend. The two wives survived. It was such a tragedy. Happened a few years ago. Those two women had to fly home from Italy with their husbands' caskets. :(
