I plan on going back to work on the 4th I can not imagine what my classroom will look like |
|
after having a sub since Nov 25th
I know that many of my students didn't bother to do any of the work while I was gone as they felt it wasn't being graded.
I miss them and several have called or emailed so I will be excited to see them.
I just fear a little bit about my health as I have no immune system right now. I will have to be very careful.

1. It's hard to work as a teacher with no immune system. |

My doctor's parents were both teachers and he is not too keen on this, but sent me with a bunch of individual wrapped packets of hand sanitizers. Said to use them up.
I am looking forward to going back. I had set them up with a project about westward expansion the last week before christmas (my principal came to my house to pick up supplies needed and directions) I am anxious to see how they came out!

3. Best of luck, greenbriar! |

Our district recently installed hand sanitizer dispensers in every classroom, the cafeteria, and halls. I think they are are reason that I haven't had one cold yet this year! (And I see about 850 students!)
Keep a big giant size of sanitizer in your room and make sure the kids use it religiously!
I've also been using Emergen-C at the first sign of a sniffle. Seems to help---can you take that, or Airborne? Stay healthy, OK?

I need to go in and get ready. Haven't been able to make myself go. Guess it will be tomorrow.
Hope you take it easy as you head back! :hi:

6. I was going to go Wed, but Tuesday was a really bad day |
|
so I thought it best to stay home
I thought I might have had some effects from the Chemo, but my nephew got sick the next day, so maybe we had a bit of the minor flu bug?
At any rate, I am sure my room is probably a mess. Will plan on staying late on Monday to get things back in order.
