Anybody else getting their days mixed up because of the holidays.
Today does not seem like a Friday.

5. This long holiday season has been great.
I keep thinking what today was.

We went to the grocery store today, didn't seem like a holiday at all.

though.

7. Tomorrow will be our last holiday gathering.
I like the holidays but I am done.

A cousin and her family will be here so that will be fun.

6. Totally
I had no idea what day it was today. By the time we went to my mom's for New Year's Day dinner, I was convinced it was Sunday, and I was ready to kick the kid back into school tomorrow. (He made it quite clear that he had more than 48 hours of freedom still to go--at least somebody in this house has managed to keep track of time.)

18. Right there with you.
What is making it worse is that both my kids are working tomorrow and I keep wondering why because they always have Sunday off. :eyes:

I am very glad that things will be "back to normal" this weekend and next week. I love the holidays, but am ready to get back to my regular routine.

13. Fridays off *do* feel weird--and this felt a bit like Sunday--
maybe a Sunday with a Monday off following it? But not like tomorrow is Saturday.

I'll only know how messed up I am when I have to write the date on something--I usually take a day or so to get used to the change in *months*. To write a whole new year? Maybe I should take a sheet of paper and "practice" before I make out my bills!

14. This happens in our household all the time.
Mr. Brickbat works on call, and I work at home. There are days where I can't remember if the kids are supposed to go to school or not.

My husband also kept thinking today was Saturday, so I don't feel quite so stupid.

17. Time is relative
I know we've only known each other four weeks and three days, but to me it seems like nine weeks and five days. The first day seemed like a week and the second day seemed like five days and the third day seemed like a week again and the fourth day seemed like eight days and the fifth day you went to see your mother and that seemed just like a day and then you came back and later on the sixth day, in then evening, when we saw each other, that started seeming like two days, so in the evening it seemed like two days spilling over into the next day and that started seeming like four days, so at the end of the sixth day on into the seventh day, it seemed like a total of five days. And the sixth day seemed like a week and a half. I have it written down, but I can show it to you tomorrow if you want to see it.
