1. I'm glad I'm not where you are. It's 28 here this morning and I was thinking |
|
just minutes ago that we have 3 months more before it starts warming up. I really hate cold weather.

12. Last time I did that I had a heat stroke |
|
I'm a Northern girl through and through. Actually it was 106 in OKC that day, I think 110 would kill me. I do remember a trip across North Dakota with temps in the upper 90's and the AC went out. I bagged up ice and kept washcloths in the bag for us to wipe ourselves down with. It made the trip bearable.

19. But is it a dry heat? |
|
110 is tough in San Antonio, not too bad in El Paso.
Been in both, and I think I'll stay here in MI for a while.
+17 here today, so the motorcycle will stay in the garage.

|
Now cold on the other hand is much more bearable when it is dry. Damp cold just makes my bones ache. Thank goddess for the wood stove.

but it is flowing. I think I reach a state of semi-hibernation in the winter. As long as I don't wake up in the spring with a new baby in the house I'm doing OK. :hi:

It's about 14 here in Michigan. The problem for us is the lake effect snow. If you have never experienced it that is when you can get 6 inches in an hour but two miles down the road has no snow. I love it though, and I can't even stand vacationing in those states everyone brags about who have no interesting weather. I don't know how people can live in that boredom. I am being slightly sarcastic, but I do prefer northern climates with seasons and interesting weather changes.
