My Grandmother is back at the ER
After losing several toes this time she may lose her whole foot. Diabetes is so insidious.

8. I don't get it..she wakes, up, takes her blood pressure and sugar level
she does her sugar three times a day and she always takes her medicine and follows that diet. Why does this keep happening?

12. Good question.
She might be "insulin resistant" which would be something she needs to talk to her doctor about. Hell, she should be talking to him/her anyway.

Sounds like she's doing everything she can, and doing it right.

My best thoughts for your grandma...

I surely hope she isn't facing more surgery but if she is then good vibes to her surgical team and caregivers are heading her way.

11. that sucks.
My grandpa was admitted to the hospital today with what's probably pneumonia. He gets it every freaking year. He's 82 and has dementia. I'm scared he won't make it out this time : /

I'm sorry we're both having to deal with this crap.
