Best 60s-70s Sitcom House
Who do you think had the best house. Clevers, Bradys, Petries?
The only rule is we are talking about middle class Sitcom families, No Addams or Clampet mansions allowed.

I'd go with the sleek modern design and large kitchen of Rob and Laura Petrie. And it was right outside NYC.

1. The house from Bewitched was nice, IIRC.
As was the place they used for The Partridge Family. Oh, and the Happy Days' home of the Cunninghams. All nice spreads.

2. The only problem I see with the Petrie house
is that no bathroom can be reached without first walking through a bedroom.
That's a little awkward for guests.

There were six kids sharing a bathroom that didn't have a toilet. No thanks.

probably because we always lived in a ranch style single story house. I remember wishing for an upstairs. The Cleaver home is on the backlot at Universal. IIRC

But this time of the year I believe I'd be happier sharing a grass shack with Ginger and Mary Ann.

You know what I mean, Vern?

or if you disqualify that home for not being a single family detached kind of thing, then how about the Jupiter 2.

Unless that's disqualified for being a mobile home :) Oh and I guess "lost in Space" that wasn't really a sitcom

16. I liked the Bunker's house from All In The Family
I had relatives and semi-relatives who really lived in places like that, so it seemed real to me. I wonder if it smelled vaguely of boiled cabbage.

Of course his home security system sucked. James Garner used to joke that he was the only person who needed to use a key to get into his home.

A close second goes to the firehouse on "Emergency!" When I was a kid I totally wanted to live in a firehouse (even if theirs didn't have a pole)
