Something just went 'thump' in my chimney. Loudly.

I looked in the fireplace with a flashlight. Nothing. No sign of anything at the boiler directly below it either. An outside inspection didn't reveal any problems, nor were there any animal tracks on the fresh snow on the roof.

Weird. Well, we were due for a chimney sweeping anyway...guess I'll call him on Monday!

Something Is Stuck in the Chimney

It is with great sadness that I must report that Santa Claus will not be available to deliver presents to all the good boys and girls this Christmas. It seems that last Christmas Santa, on his way down a chimney to deliver presents to a family, had the misfortune of meeting a sharp obstacle that led to such severe injuries that he met an untimely end. This song relates one little girl’s reaction to something stuck in the chimney on Christmas morning. She doesn’t learn until the next Christmas what it is.
